Community Coming Together for Sara Peterson
Many of you know and love Sara — her strength, her kindness, and the way she shows up for others without hesitation. Now, our family is asking for that same love and support in return.
Recently, Sara underwent brain surgery to remove a tumor. After meeting with her medical team, it has been determined that she will be moving forward with chemotherapy and radiation as part of her treatment. Her first appointment with UW Cancer Center is scheduled for January 13th, marking the start of a long and challenging road ahead.
Through all of this, Sara continues to be the heart of her family — alongside her husband Larry, and their two incredible boys, Dexter and Spencer. As they navigate appointments, treatments, side effects, and time away from everyday life, the emotional and financial weight can be overwhelming.
That’s why we are coming together as a community.

On this day, we will be holding a benefit for Sara and her family — a time to rally around them, show our love, and remind them they are not walking this journey alone.
This benefit is about more than fundraising. It’s about:

• Lifting a family when they need it most
