DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, Oct 24th is Drug Take Back Day! If you have any old 
 medications\, bring them to the Sheriff's Office\, and we'll dispose of th
 em for you!! The front lobby will be open from 10am - 2pm Bring: Prescript
 ion (controlled and non-controlled) and over-the-counter medications\, oin
 tments\, patches\, non-aerosol sprays\, inhalers\, creams\, vials\, and pe
 t medications. Please place all pills in a sealed ziplock baggie. We do no
 t accept prescription bottles or other containers. Do Not Bring: Illegal d
 rugs\, needles/sharps\, aerosol cans\, bio-hazardous materials (anything c
 ontaining a bodily fluid or blood)\, mercury thermometers\, personal care 
 products (shampoo\, soaps\, lotions\, sunscreens\, etc...)\, household haz
 ardous waste (paint\, pesticides\, oil\, gas). Participants may dispose of
  solid\, non-liquid medication(s) by removing the medication from its cont
 ainer and disposing of it directly into a disposal box or into a clear sea
 lable plastic bag. Plastic pill containers should not be collected. Bliste
 r packages are acceptable without the medications being removed. Liquids w
 ill be accepted during this initiative. However\, the liquids\, creams\, a
 nd sprays must be in their original packaging and evenly distributed withi
 n the boxes of collected solid prescription medications. Liquids without t
 he original packaging will not be accepted. As a reminder\, Drug Take Back
  Drop Off bins are available year-round at The Adams County Sheriff's Depa
 rtment (24/7)\, Adams County Health and Human Services (during business ho
 urs)\, and The Adams County Community Center (during business hours)\n\nht
